| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper was to examine the effects of image on performance during thefree recall test, by manipulating the dual task type. In the study phase, I presented 36partipants with lists of words, followed by a world fragment completion test. One group ofparticipants was told only to read lists of words (reading condition), a second group was toldto perform dual task which required them to image the figure of letters (letter-imagingcondition), and a third group was told to do the dual task in which they must produce words(word-producing condition). As result, the rate of the free recall was lower in the letter-imaging condition and in the word-producing condition than in the reading condition. Theletter-imaging condition and the word-producing condition made no difference. This resultshowed that the effect of imaging the figure of letters in Endo (2007) is due to the perceptualprocessing. | |||||
