In the study phase, Ipresented 36 participants with lists of words, follwed by word fragment completion test.One group of participants was told only to read lists of words (reading condition), a secondgroup was told to preform the dual task which required them to image the figure of letters(letter-imaging condition), and a third group was told to do the dual task in which they mustproduce words (word-producing condition).
